This faculty & resident development series is hosted by the Dean's Office at the UTCOM Chattanooga.

 

Overview: Sessions focus on topics related to the following General Competency areas: practice-based learning and improvement; interpersonal and communication skills; professionalism; and systems-based practice. Specific topics include medical ethics, clinical quality improvement, end-of-life care, malpractice, impaired physicians, organized medicine, sleep and fatigue education, patient interviewing skills, and teaching skills. Faculty, Staff & Medical Students are encouraged to attend.

All 1st, 2nd, and 3rd year Residents & Fellows are required to attend or view the recorded version of the session later that month.
