Overview:  The 2016 Internal Medicine Update (2016IMU) is the 3rd annual of the conference and takes place September 28 - October 1, 2016 in the beautiful Chattanooga, TN, a city that has received a variety of awards, honors & attention in recent years.  A broad range or topics will be covered by some of the country's leading physician educators, including:

Education & Content: The 2016 IMU has been approved for 22 CME/AMA credits and is designed to meet the continuing medical education needs of physicians in order to enhance their knowledge, competence, and performance in various areas of interest & value. The content & instruction are focused on the role of the General Internist in the evolving Cardiology landscape and on providing new practice abilities & strategies in order to ultimately improve patient outcomes.


AMA Credit: The University of Tennessee College of Medicine designates this live activity for a maximum of 22 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.  Continuing Education for Non-Physicians: The University of Tennessee College of Medicine will issue Certificates of Attendance to non-physicians for attending this activity and designates CEU's using the national standard that 1 hour of educational instruction is awarded .1 CEU.  Accreditation:  The University of Tennessee College of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
