2020 EPIC Training-Resident Orientation Schedule

Revised Schedule for 2020 EPIC Training (Updated 06/21/2020)

Revised Erlanger eChart Training Schedule for
New Residents and Fellows for 2020 - 2021
.

EPIC eChart Training is being conducted via WebEx this year by the Erlanger eChart Training Staff; however, the personalization labs must be completed when you are logged into an Erlanger network computer.  The schedule is attached for all the different sessions, so please review and make sure that you know when and where your department is supposed to be in the UT Computer Classroom.  It is located in the Whitehall Building across from the main Erlanger building and is on the 1st floor.  It is in a old five story brown brick building, and the street address is 960 East Third Street, Suite 104, 37403.  Please park in the main Erlanger Parking Garage (fee will be $2 or less per day) and then walk trhough the hospital and across the street to the Whitehall Building.   The Whitehall Building is locked down due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, so Mrs. Pam Scott or Mrs. Kim Judd will let you in for training at the sliding glass doors in the front of the building on Third Street near the corner of Third and Wiel Street.  If your training starts at 8:30 am, then please arrive by 8:45 am.  If training begins at 1 pm, then please arrive by 12:45 pm.

Please be sure you have completed all your assigned Resident Training Modules through the Erlanger Online Learning (EOL) system before you begin your official training and the personalization labs.

Attire for eChart training as well as all orientation sessions in the next week and a half is "Business Casual."  Shorts and T-shirts are not appropriate, but you don't have to wear dress slacks, ties, dresses, or skirts.  Masks are required to worn when in the hospital or any of its buildings, but we will have cloth masks if you do not have your own.  We will provide hand sanitizer and wipes as well for your training.

You should have received instructions from the eChart Training Team for the WebEx sessions, as well as your Erlanger network logins and initial passwords for the personalization labs.  You should also have received emails about exactly where and when you have to report for training -- some of our departments will be able to complete the first part of training from their home computers.

We look forward to seeing you in the next few days.
