Family Medicine Application InformationFor all applicants:
Applicants for our six PGY-1 positions must go through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) to apply to our program. We also participate in the National Resident Match Program (NRMP).
Our ACGME Program Number is 1204731584. Our Program's NRMP code is 1689120C0.
International Medical Graduates: Thank you for your interest in our program. We accept international medical graduates into our program and are looking for select individuals who have recent US clinical experience and above average USMLE scores. Our institution sponsors J-1 visas.
The Tennessee Board of Medical Examiners has adopted a list of international medical schools recognized by the Medical Board of California Board. Graduates from international schools not found on this list will not be eligible for medical license in Tennessee. The UT College of Medicine Chattanooga and its programs have determined that they will only consider international applicants for student rotations or residency/fellowship application who are graduates of international schools on this list since only those individuals would be eligible for medical license in Tennessee after completing residency. If your international school is not on the California recognized list, you may ask your Dean's Office to contact the California Medical Board to determine the reason and the process of becoming recognized.
