Note:  The Tennessee Board of Medical Examiners has adopted a list of medical schools recognized by the California Board of Medical Examiners.  Graduates from schools not found on this list will not be eligible for medical license in Tennessee.  The UT College of Medicine Chattanooga and its programs have determined that they will only consider applicants for student rotations or residency/fellowship application who are graduates of schools on this list so only those individuals would be eligible for medical license in Tennessee after completing residency.  If your school is not on the California recognized list, you may ask your Dean's Office to contact the California Medical Board to determine the reason and the process of becoming recognized.  The link to the recognized list is:
