TN Vehicle Registration

VEHICLE REGISTRATION AND AUTO TAGS
To register a new automobile or obtain Hamilton County tags for your car(s):  You must go to the Hamilton County Courthouse in downtown Chattanooga:

Hamilton County now requires the vehicle to pass an emissions test.  Click here to view the document and find locations for the test. 

Note:  You must have $10 cash to pay for the emissions test.
